Beth played high school volleyball in Caldwell, Texas, where they won two state championships. She is also a two time state tournament MVP and was named to the Texas UIL all-decade volleyball team. Volleyball then took Beth to SMU for four years where she earned many awards and set many records. She was on the All-WAC team every year at SMU with one of those being a first team All-WAC honor her senior year. After receiving her degree from SMU in 2005, she continued her volleyball career by playing professionally in France for Lyon Saint Fons Volley. After returning from France, she took the assistant coaching position at Texas Tech where she coached for over ten years. Beth and her husband Jeremy live just outside of Lubbock in Ropesville, where they are raising their two boys, Blaise and Rhett.
Amy grew up in Ontario, Canada, where she enjoyed playing every sport from skiing and snowboarding to soccer, badminton and volleyball. She was named Athlete of the Year all four years of high school. Amy received a scholarship to play volleyball at Texas Tech University where she played for four years. At Texas Tech, she was named to several all tournament teams and received the MVP of the Smoothie King Invitational. Amy was also named to the Academic All-Big 12 team. After graduating with a degree in mathematics, she joined the Texas Tech volleyball staff for five years. Amy and her husband Eric live in Lubbock and have two kids, Owen and Riley.
Beth and Amy met while at Texas Tech and quickly became friends, coworkers, and business partners. While coaching club volleyball teams, they learned very quickly that they loved working together. They have since directed a volleyball club together for a few years and also started Lubbock Summer Volleyball League (LSVL). They have had lots of fun watching their Lubbock Summer Volleyball League grow since its inception in 2010. LSVL was developed with the intention of getting high school teams together before their two-a-days started to get the girls back on the court and playing as much as possible. Summer Volleyball League has now expanded to include Amarillo Summer Volleyball League!!
